WHFC Students | 6th - 12th Grade
8 January – 7 May 2025
WHFC desires to create a place where students are known and valued as we guide upcoming generations to follow Jesus and be the church through biblical teaching and the challenge to grow in their faith.
We understand that 6th grade is a big year of change for many kids, which is why we are excited to offer a “transition year” for our 6th graders! We invite them to join us on Sunday mornings at The Porch for CREW, and to participate in our weekly Student Ministries program on Wednesday nights.
Every week, we seek to point students to Jesus and challenge them to grow in their relationship with Christ through Biblical teaching, consistent small groups, and fellowship with one another, with the ultimate goal that students would own their faith.
We believe every student is called to make disciples. Through relational small groups, worship gatherings, and both relevant and challenging teaching, we hope their time in WHFCStudents will empower, encourage, and equip each student to become a fully devoted follower of Christ.
We know that senior year can come with a lot of change and excitement as students prepare for adulthood. Every May, we host a ‘Grad Prep’ class and reception for seniors and their parents as each student uniquely prepares for the changes and challenges to come. Seniors are also invited to participate in Senior Sunday celebrations at church and are encouraged to check out our Young Adult ministry for ages 18-25.
Middle schoolers and high schoolers gather across several venues throughout the WHFC campus. Our Check-In team will be ready to welcome you and show you where to go!
While we might not be gathering on campus this summer, mark your calendars for six weeks of summer meet-ups around town!
We believe students are an important part of the local church. We want to create a place where you can participate in ministry on Sunday mornings at WHFC.

Throughout the school year, most meetings are held on Wednesday nights, on campus, from 6:30 to 8:00. Check our ‘Upcoming Events’ below to see our current calendar.
In the summer, we typically host ‘Six Weeks of Summer,’ which consists of six weeks of meetings on Wednesday nights around the Branson area. These are usually held off-campus and run from 6:30 to 8:30.
A typical Wednesday night includes about 30 minutes of food and hangout time, 30 minutes of worship and large group teaching, and 30 minutes of small group breakouts and discussion.
From time to time, we host special events that are full-out party nights! Examples include scavenger hunts, dance parties, sports tournaments, and group competitions hosted here at WHFC.
YES! The majority of what we do revolves around Wednesdays. We do offer fun opportunities for students to connect, grow, and engage in community outside of our regular Wednesday gatherings.
We are so glad you asked! Students are highly encouraged to attend our Sunday gathering with their families. In addition, students are encouraged to serve alongside their parents or join our Student Serve program!
The Student Serve program is designed for 6th to 9th graders to be mentored and trained in leadership and serving at WHFC. Opportunities may include roles in Children’s Ministry, Hospitality, Facilities, Tech, Welcome, and more!
We will post weather cancellations on social media and send an email to the parents in our Parent Email group. To join the Parent Email group, click here!
