In Critter Street, we know the power in repetition and getting kids moving around! Every week’s lesson is centered on a Bible story demonstrating the monthly theme. We have fun table activities, games and crafts that reinforce the stories. Our activities are very hands-on and lots of fun!
Each month in Critter Street, there will be a new theme, a “bottom line”, and a simple Bible verse with motions. Sunday morning begins with an engaging activity in their classroom introducing the Bible story they are about to hear. Next, the classes gather for worship and teaching tailored especially for their young understanding. The kids love to dance and sing and participate with our awesome storytellers. Afterwards, groups rotate to our giant indoor playground and back to their class for crafts, prayer time, memory verse practice and a snack! Does it get any better than that?? By the time service is out, all our “little critters” have heard the Bible truths repeated in fun and meaningful ways. And next week, they can come back to hear more!!
It is our goal that parents are well informed to talk with their child about the Truths they are learning. Repetition is key, and you are their best teachers, so we want to equip you however we can! The first Sunday of each month, we send home a Parent Take Home activity for your family to enjoy that aligns with our monthly learning. It will also include the monthly Bible verse and a breakdown of the upcoming Bible stories for the month ahead!
