Staff and Elders

Ted Cunningham

Ted Cunningham is the Founding Pastor at Woodland Hills Family Church. He and his wife, Amy, have two children, Corynn and Carson.

Ted loves snuggling with his kids, boating on Table Rock Lake and the pirate ship at the Branson Landing. He is a bandwagon Chicago Cubs fan.

Ted loves seeing lives changed, marriages rescued, and families saved, and gets nauseated when he thinks about the church becoming an organization, rather than the one big family God intended it to be.

His love for the family leads him into churches and conference centers on a mission to teach couples biblical relationship principles that will transform their family. Ted co-authored The Language of Sex and From Anger to Intimacy with Dr. Gary Smalley. For more information on Ted's speaking schedule, click here.

Recently Ted and Woodland Hills Family Church partnered with Mark Connelly of Mission Community Church  and Dr. Gary Smalley to create TwoIgnite: a local church movement created to strengthen marriage through adventure.

Ted Burden

Ted Burden is the Worship Pastor at Woodland Hills Family Church. An avid Mizzou Tigers fan, he loves spending time with his wife, Jo, and their two married children and two grandchildren.

Ted could survive on a diet of bananas and fresh Jayhawk. His all-time, hands-down favorite TV show is Andy Griffith and he enjoys fly-fishing on Lake Taneycomo.

Ted believes that since family was the first group God created and since it was that important to God, it should be important to us.

Ted shares his leadership and love for Jesus in other venues including Youth Retreats, Singles Conferences, and Mission Trips. To learn more about his schedule of leading worship services, click here

He began working in July 2004.
